The setting is unbeatable and stunning, so close to shops, the lakes and the Lake District. For tea and goodies visit Kd's Cafe, located close by. The rooms are tidy and cosy with a fabulous view, so that guests have essentials.

Loved the real fire in the lounge and the cozy open space for dining! Great atmosphere.

The location was perfect, with everything we wanted to explore just a short walk away. The check-in process was straightforward, and we appreciated the nice touch of an 11am checkout. The breakfast was fantastic, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and attentive.

The lack of room service means you'll need to head to the restaurant for any dining needs, which may not suit everyone's preferences.

We enjoyed our stay with the kids exploring Bowness-upon-Windermere with plenty of fun water sports and good local shops. The family room was ample, and the staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating.

In my wife's opinion, it would be great if the noise insulation were better for a more restful night.

I had an amazing time enjoying the cozy atmosphere and fantastic food while being just a short stroll away from St Martin's Church and Bowness Bay, made my weekend wandering feel even more special.

The cozy double room was spotlessly clean, the location was perfect near the lake, and the beautiful beer garden was a lovely spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Plus, we managed to snag a last-minute table for dinner, and the food was just delicious!

Family getaway worth it for a special stay

The breakfast was lovely with a great mix of continental and options to order hot food my daughter adored the bunk beds in the annex room which gave us extra space for all of us to relax safely with the kids
